Apex Developmental Services, Inc. is committed to protecting the rights, dignity, privacy, and safety of each person served. Services are intended to be delivered in a respectful, person-centered manner consistent with individual needs and applicable home and community-based service requirements.

Client Rights

Individuals receiving services have the right to be treated with dignity and respect, to have privacy, to be free from abuse, neglect, exploitation, retaliation, coercion, and unnecessary restraint, and to participate in decisions affecting their services and daily lives to the fullest extent appropriate.

Person-Centered Services

Apex supports person-centered service delivery that respects individual preferences, strengths, goals, and choices. Services should be delivered in a manner that promotes community inclusion and supports the least restrictive environment appropriate to the person’s needs.

Privacy and Confidentiality

Apex Developmental Services, Inc. works to protect confidential information and only uses or shares information as permitted for service delivery, operational needs, and applicable legal or regulatory purposes.

Grievances and Complaints

Individuals, families, or representatives may raise concerns or complaints about services, staff conduct, or service delivery. Concerns may be submitted to Apex for review and response.

Reporting Safety Concerns

Concerns involving abuse, neglect, exploitation, or immediate safety issues should be reported promptly through appropriate reporting channels and emergency services when necessary.
